Services for Naomi Lancaster, 86, of Palestine will be at 3:30 p.m. Sunday in the Bailey & Foster Chapel with the Rev. Michael Mynatt officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Park under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.

Mrs. Lancaster died Thursday in a Tyler hospital.

She was born July 11, 1919 in Montalba to Robert Jefferson Funderburk and Media Wilkerson Funderburk.

Mrs. Lancaster was a member of the Norwood Heights Baptist Church. Before retiring she had worked as a medical secretary.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, Sherry Lynn Lancaster, who died in 1979.

Mrs. Lancaster is survived by her husband, Clifford Lancaster of Palestine; daughters, Judy Terrell and husband Tim of Laguna Hills, Calif., and Janey Hutchings and husband Jerry of Texarkana; sons, Gerald Lancaster and wife Perla of Georgetown, and Jeff Lancaster and wife Susan of Cartwright, Okla.; grandchildren, Cari and Dave Carlen of Bradley and Yamileth Lancaster, Bryan and Lori Hutchings, Ruth Ann and Mike Montalvo, Wesley and Lizabeth Hutchings, Mitzi and Jeff Pirkey, Beth and Jason Smith, Jason and Lesley Lancaster, Rachel and David Jordan; and five great-grandchildren.

Grandsons and grandsons-in-law will serve as pallbearers.

Condolence calls will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.
