Services for Charles O. Miller III of Tyler will be at 3 :00 P.M. Tuesday at Bailey & Foster Chapel with Rev. Ron Prince and Rev. Andrew Allen officiating. Burial will follow in New Addition Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster, Palestine.

Mr. Miller died Sunday at Home Place in Tyler.

He was born March 19, 1920 in Palestine to Charles O. Miller, Jr. and Emily Ester Cutter Miller.

Mr Miller graduated from Palestine High School in 1937 and from Texas A&M in 1941. He was a petroleum engineer for Getty Oil Company for 41 years. He served in the Army Air Corp during WWII. Mr. Miller was a member of the First Baptist Church in Tyler.

Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Jean McKechan Miller February 25, 2003 and a brother Jack Oliver Miller.

He is survived by two daughters Dinah Miller of Dallas, and Dixie DuPree of St. Louis, Mo. four grandchildren Rebecca Davison and Julia DuPree of Indianapolis, IN., Rosie Miller and Pepper Miller of Dallas. Pallbearers will be Thomas Lee, Chad Lee, Don McKeehan, Kelley Vannatta, David Dickson, and Marvin McKeehan.

Condolence calls will be from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Monday at Bailey & Foster, Palestine. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Family Assistance Center of the First Baptist Church, 301 W. Ferguson, Tyler, Texas., 75702, or to Hospice of East Texas, 4111 University Blvd., Tyler, Texas., 75701.
