Services for Lois Nash, 75, of Palestine, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Philip’s Episcopal Church with the Rev. Mike Glenn officiating. Burial will follow at Palestine City Cemetery under the direction of Herrington / Land of Memory.

Mrs. Nash died Tuesday at Memorial Hospital after a brief illness

She was born in Palestine on August 31, 1920 to W.S. and Bessie Peck Harris. She lived in Palestine her entire life and was a member of First United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Nash graduated from Palestine High School and worked in banking for 50 years as a teller and bank officer at East Texas National Bank and First National Bank of Palestine.

She is survived by her son, Bill Nash of Palestine; brother, Ray Harris of Victoria; and three grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Gary Laird, Bill Knowles, Howard Day, Joe Poteet, Bennie Parrish and Jack Rogers.

Condolence calls will be received from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
