Services for June Oden, 86, of Palestine will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at New Addition Annex Cemetery with Dan Manuel officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster.

Mrs. Oden died Wednesday, July 14, 2004, at Alterra Sterling House in Palestine.  Lura June Zeigler Oden was born June 9, 1918 in Palestine to Rubert and Mattie A. Zimmerman Zeigler.

Mrs. Oden was a member of Crockett Road Church of Christ. She graduated from Palestine High School in 1936. She retired from Kroger after 15 years of service.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Doyle Oden, in 2001; son Charles Oden; and her brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Oden is survived by her sons, Lee Doyle Oden of League City and Lynn Oden of Palestine; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Condolence calls will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
