Services for Robert E. Jordan, 85 of Palestine were at 3 p.m. today at Bailey & Foster Chapel with the Rev. Fred Neal officiating. Burial followed in Roselawn.

Mr. Jordan died Monday at Palestine Regional Medical Center.  He was born March 28, 1917 in Palestine to Ben F. and Rosa Petit Jordan.  Mr. Jordan was a member of the First United Methodist Church. He retired from TP&L with 45 years of service as a district engineer. He served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II.

He was preceded in death by four sisters, Evelyn Dupree, Beatrice Scarbrough, Clarice Ward and Jennie Selden; and a brother, W. B. Jordan.

Mr. Jordan is survived by his wife, Margaret Jordan of Palestine.
