Lucile Reed Eubanks

Services for Lucile Reed Eubanks, 84, of Alvin, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Alvin Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Eubanks, a former resident of Anderson County, died Friday at home after a brief illness.

She was born August 23, 1904, in Wilson County, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Reed. Before retiring, she was a teacher for many years in the Alvin school district.

She is survived by a son, Lennie Eubanks of Springfield, VA.; daughters, Lucile Beasley of Liverpool and Sue Maxwell of Houston; sisters, Ethell Reed of Palestine and Mary Pinckney of Austin; brothers, Perry Reed and J.A. Reed, both of Palestine; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and sisters-in-law Mattie Calcote, Mrs. Bennie Green and Mrs. Joe Reed all of Palestine, and Mrs. W.R. Miller of Austin.
