Graveside services for Helen Davenport Hicks, of 1331 E. Park Ave., will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at New Addition Cemetery, the Rev. Joe Routh officiating. Arrangements are by Bailey Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hicks died Thursday at her home.

She was born August 26, 1916, in Palestine, a daughter of Mat and Almarine Allen Davenport.

She was a member of St. Philips Episcopal Church; a charter member of the Harvey Woman’s Club, and was a member of the Meleterion Study Club.

She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Hicks.

Survivors include a daughter, Carol Gregg of Brenham; a son, Bill Hicks of Houston; several grandchildren, and cousins, Henry S. Davenport and Mrs. Louise Davenport Williams, both of Palestine.
