Services for Doris Patrick Marshman, 88, of Houston and formerly of Palestine, will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Palestine City Cemetery with Dr. Tom Rousseau officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Bailey & Foster, Palestine.

Mrs. Marshman died Thursday at Heritage Sam Houston Nursing Home in Houston. She was born October 13, 1911 in Palestine to John Patrick and Maggie Parks Roscoe Patrick.

Mrs. Marshman was a homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church of Palestine.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Byron Marshman, in 1994.

Mrs. Marshman is survived by a daughter, Jan Conant, Houston; sisters Jonivel Smith, Birmingham, Ala., and Mildred Callahan, San Angelo; and two grandchildren.
