Mary Norman Hamilton

Services for longtime Palestine resident, Mary Norman Hamilton, 76, of Freeport, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at first United Methodist Church in Palestine with the Rev. Wayne Rhodes officiating. Burial will be in New Addition Cemetery under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hamilton died Wednesday in Freeport. She was born in Marshall, a daughter of B.F. and Mary Elizabeth Coleman Norman.

She lived in Palestine from 1924 to 1984 and was a member of First United Methodist Church. Mrs. Hamilton was a longtime teacher in the Palestine Independent School District.

Survivors include her brothers, J.R. Norman of Freeport and B.F. Norman of Bryan.

Condolence calls will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
