Services for Guy Keeling Sr., 85, of Tyler, and formerly of Palestine, will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home with the Rev. Tom Rousseau officiating. Burial will be at Tennessee Colony Cemetery.

Mr. Keeling died today at Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler.

He was born in Tucker on Feb. 22, 1910, to W.V. and Nina Candis Shields Keeling. He was a rancher.

Mr. Keeling graduated from Palestine High School in 1929. He was a member of First Christian Church in Palestine.

He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Lee Ann Pierce and Robert Pierce.

He is survived by his daughters, Carol Joyce Carson of Tyler and Marilyn Dietz of Tucker; son, Guy Keeling of Dallas; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be David Keeling, Hunt Dietz, Bryan Dietz, David Starcher, Brandon Smith, Lee Smith, Matthew Smith, and Robert Williamson.

Condolence calls will be received from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
