Services for Helen Elizabeth Melton, 77 of Elkhart, will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Bailey & Foster Chapel with the Revs. Gary W. Southard and Clyde Reese officiating.   Burial will be in Roselawn Park.

Mrs. Melton died Saturday at Trinity Valey Medical Center.  She was born October 15, 1917 in Palestine to Samuel Peal and Bennie Johnson Reese.

Mrs. Melton was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and had been a bank teller for First National Bank of Palestine.

She is survived by her husband, Loyd Melton of Elkhart; son Johnie Melton of Bullard brother, the Rev. Clyde Reese of Elkhart; and one granddaughter.

Pallbearers will be Perry Allen, Robert Pharis, Loyd Hathaway, Steve Webb, Gregg Webb, Linday Nichols and Leroy Lusk.

Condolence calls will be received from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
